SAN ANTONIO BREAST CANCER SYMPOSIUM 2024

14 – 15 February 2025
symposium hybrid format
Sofia, Hotel Millennium

Dear colleagues,
Dear friends,

With these introductory lines, the Organizing Committee of the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium® (SABCS®) and the Bulgarian Joint Cancer Network (BJCN) open their Bulgarian doors for the first time and invite you to the Best of SABCS® 2024 Bulgaria.

In December 2024, the SABCS Forum® held its 47th edition and welcomed over 11,000 participants from more than 102 countries. Continuing to be the leading global congress for fundamental, translational and clinical research on breast cancer, it is primarily aimed at university researchers and hospital physicians in medical, surgical, gynecological and radiation oncology.

The National Symposium The Best of SABCS® Bulgaria is the first officially licensed format. Its ambition is to provide professionals who cannot travel to San Antonio with the opportunity to experience and discuss with Bulgarian experts and colleagues the most current research and progressive trends. Participants will receive the most up-to-date information from San Antonio in an original vision, which, we believe, will improve our clinical practice and the benefits for our patients.

To work for a balance between the high standards of world oncology and national practice in Bulgaria – this is the mission of this forum. Therefore, we would like you to use it for inspiration, cultivation of modern thinking and self-confidence for global integration.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Assia Konsoulova
Chairwoman of the Organizing Committee

About SABCS®

For more than 45 years, the mission of SABCS® has been to provide the most up-to-date information on breast cancer research. From a one-day regional conference, SABCS® has grown into a large-scale five-day forum attended by a broad international audience of academic researchers and hospitalists from over 90 countries.

SABCS® aims to achieve a balance between basic, translational and clinical research, providing a forum for interaction, communication, and education for a wide range of researchers, healthcare professionals and others with a special interest in breast cancer.

SABCS® is designed to provide an international oncology audience with state-of-the-art information on experimental biology, etiology, prevention, diagnosis, and therapy of premalignant diseases and breast carcinoma.
