Dr. Eliz Tazimova graduated with a degree in Medicine from the Medical University – Sofia in 2013 and obtained her specialty in Medical Oncology in 2020.

She has been a member of the Medical Oncology Clinic at Acibadem City Clinic Tokuda University Hospital since 2014 and serves as Deputy Chair of the Hospital Oncology Committee for Breast Cancer at the same institution. Since 2020, she has also worked as a specialist and consultant at Acibadem City Clinic Tokuda Medical Center.

Dr. Tazimova is a co-founder and Operational Director of the Breast Cancer Research and Treatment Institute, an organization responsible for hosting the first nationally licensed conference in Bulgaria, accredited by the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) – ESMO In Focus Breast Cancer 2024 Bulgaria. She is the Chair of the Organizing Committee for the event. Additionally, she co-organized and lectured in the Continuing Medical Education (CME) Module 1: Early Breast Cancer – Expertise in Diagnosis and Treatment, held on September 29–30, 2023.

Her professional interests focus on the modern treatment of breast cancer and other solid tumors, utilizing multimodal approaches based on up-to-date international guidelines within a multidisciplinary framework. She is also a clinical investigator in trials for solid tumors.

Dr. Tazimova has published scientific articles on the treatment of breast cancer, lung carcinoma, uro-genital and gynecological tumors, adrenocortical carcinoma, and more. She frequently participates as a lecturer and active contributor in various national and international medical forums and training programs.

She is a member of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), the American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the Breast Cancer Research and Treatment Institute, the Bulgarian Society of Immuno-Oncology, and the Bulgarian “Young Oncologist” Club.

In 2020, she received an award in the initiative by 24 Chasa newspaper – “Doctors We Trust.”
